Hello to our valued customers and welcomed visitors!
We just wanted to take a few minutes to reach out to you all and provide some updates thus far in case you've had trouble reaching us or are just looking for some information.
First off - if you have tried contacting us and haven't received our answering machine or a call back, or have been having issues faxing information through please know it's not you. We are having some difficulties with our lines that will hopefully be resolved tomorrow, March 24.
Tomorrow we are anticipating more details from the government on some of the financial assistance they announced last week. We will post those details once they become available.
Over the last week we have experienced an influx of requests for the preparation of Records of Employment from our various clients to provide to their employees. Karolyn has been focused on getting these prepared as immediate as possible to assist these employees in getting their claims started. It has temporarily pulled her away from preparing income tax returns but Allen has been busy as ever completing those. We apologize for any time delay on your file and please know that we are doing all we can to continue to deliver the service you are accustomed to.
You may be aware that as of 11:59 tomorrow all non-essential businesses must close for a minimum of two weeks. We really have no idea how this affects us at this point. Our office has been closed to customers since Friday but we have continued working. We intend to do this for as long as possible and are even more thankful our office is in our home to allow us to do so.
As we all make our way through these unprecedented times, we will do our best to provide accurate information and how it may apply to your business or employment.
